All patients attending this department will benefit from a number of investigations that will aid in the early detection and treatment of risk factors for heart attack through recording the heart rhythm and assessing its rate, thickness and chamber enlargement.

- -Chest x-ray
- -Echo Doppler test
- -Treadmill exercise test
- -Electrocardiogram recording (ECG)
- -Halter monitoring (a small Walkman size device connected to the chest wall to evaluate the heart rhythm both at work and rest)
